LAB 638 – Using Mimikatz (NEW)

Course Overview

Penetration testing is an activity that helps discover and mitigate vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them. Depending on the scope of penetration testing, lateral movement or privilege escalation techniques may be necessary. Harvesting stored credentials is a common technique that is used for lateral movement or privilege escalation after initial compromise.

In this lab the learner will receive hands-on experience using a popular penetration testing tool to gather stored credentials. Penetration testing is an activity that should be integrated into the lifecycle of every application and system.
